Hi, I’m Megan!

 

Floral designing and event planning are my passions. I started in event planning as an intern with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Little did I know my task to design 50 centerpieces for our first gala would kickstart my journey as a self-taught floral designer. From intern to Director of Events, I planned our large-scale events, including designing all floral elements for four years. My experience there truly unlocked my obsession with floral designing and event planning. 

 

After several years of balancing a full-time job and managing Carried Away Florals & Events as a growing side hustle, I decided to pursue Carried Away Florals & Events full-time in 2021. Having the opportunity to utilize every lesson learned over the years to contribute to someone's special day is a dream come true.

When I’m not flowering, I love spending time with my husband, daughter, and our pup, Frank, taking advantage of all the fun Annapolis has to offer.
